Short version: we collect only what we need to send the emails you ask for. We never sell or share your information, and you can leave anytime.

Delmarva Daily Bread at faith.erictmorris.com (“Delmarva Daily Bread,” “we,” “us”) is a personal ministry website run by Eric Morris. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We use “double opt-in”: you won't get any regular emails until you click the confirmation link we send you.
Texts also use double opt-in: you won't receive any daily verses until you reply YES to our confirmation text.
If you write to us, for example to add your church to the directory, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider automatically keeps standard server logs: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and when. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting.
We do not use analytics trackers, advertising, tracking pixels or social media tracking scripts. Our public pages set no cookies. Your browser's local storage holds two small settings on your own device: your preferred Bible translation, and a timestamp that keeps the page from checking the email queue more than once an hour. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.
We don't use your information for anything else, and we never sell, rent or trade it.
Mobile information: your mobile phone number and text-messaging opt-in consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. They are shared only with our text-message delivery provider (Twilio) and your mobile carrier so that we can deliver the messages you requested.
We share information only with the services needed to run the site:
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Links to other sites, such as BibleGateway, Google Maps, church websites and social media share buttons, take you to services with their own privacy policies.
We keep your subscription details while you're subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we keep your email address (or, for texts, your phone number) marked as unsubscribed so you won't receive any more email from us. If you'd like it erased completely, just ask (see below).
Delmarva Daily Bread is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has subscribed, contact us and we'll delete it.
The site is served over HTTPS, and subscriber information is stored in a private database that isn't publicly accessible. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your information.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change significantly affects how we use your information, we'll tell subscribers by email.
